<p>That chain means: user picks file → <code>change</code> fires once → file stored in DataTransfer → on submit, files appended directly to FormData → Laravel receives them → saved to DB. It should work on both create and edit now.</p><p>Just make sure <code>syncGalleryInput</code> is removed or never called since it's no longer needed, and confirm there's no leftover <code>syncGalleryInput(...)</code> call in either submit handler. If you paste your current submit handlers I can confirm, but based on the last version you shared the code looks correct.</p>
